The Dream 02:46

Wake Up 03:24
Wake Up Wake up child it’s time to meet your God. To impress on Him everything you’re gonna learn. Believe child all that you hear. You have to understand just what we have done. So this is it child, The longest day, And the saddest night. The mighty wind, And the shepherds plight, flock to flight. As old as Earth, And a struggle for rebirth. Punch-drunk but happy, And a sea.
3.
Wow 01:51
Wow You fall through the air, To somewhere you think you’ve seen before, And it’s so bright it’s blinding, And you can’t bare to look no more. So you close your eyes, Till everything’s in view, A hundred thousand mirrors, Greet the sky in front of you. And there’s a little man, In a bright yellow suit, Undone to the navel. Boy ! he looks so cute. And he’s winking at all the beautiful stars, Through his great big telescope.
4.
The Sun 05:48
The Sun If I had that piece of paper I’d put my name to it. I’d pay off the prosecution to motion this bullshit. Momentary madness; temporary loss. Delirious seduction regardless of the cost. If I had unbridled freedom to chart an unknown course. No carbon based dependents; no gravitational force. One small mistake, that any one could make. Woke up with the moon in my bed, it’s alright, alright. She said that i’d made the earth move all night, all night. Long time ago, she was all there was to know. Ding-dong-dell, I hear wedding bells. ‘Here’s looking at you kid’; ‘Get a move-on Cupid’, Don’t you know those days are all long gone. And still I shine, still I shine, shine on. Can’t help the way I feel, Being party to this low-rent deal. Take a look in the mirror at the face of yesterday, Where’s the truth; the trust; the meaning? Where’s the love we thought would stay? Goodbye my love, my love ran out. It’s headed north, and headed south But now my heart just longs to be free. It’s true my love, true but sad, This one life is all I have, I must make the most of everything. Keep the home and keep the kids, Tell your friends the wrongs I did, Say your world has all come tumbling down. So off I shoot into the stars, Play the field and hit the bars, Please God let Mr Sun shine down.

The Lunar Tea Room Suddenly you’re on a sunbeam, Headed for the Moon. It’s a real neat journey, You hope it don’t stop too soon. The stars all race by, As lines of black and white. Hope you survive, The silvery night. Arriving at the top of The Moon You come across a cottage to your delight. You peer through the window at a very strange sight. A little old woman dressed in stars and stripes. Behind her a million clocks, Are hanging on the walls, Poised and ready to strike, As midnight falls. She sees you at the window, And gestures you in. ‘Hello, Hello, Hello’. So you open the door, To the sound of knitting. She points to a chair, As she pours out cups of tea. “One lump or two dear ? Are you comfy ? Then I’ll begin”.

You Can See Our House From Here You’re hurtling towards a marble ball. Clutching at nothing to break your fall. Your head and body are both in a spin. In this competition The Earth will win. You hear a voice. You’re slowing down. You’re hanging upside down, In the air.
8.
The Wind 05:22
The Wind “Well Hi Man-Child, I’ve been waiting for you. Now let me catch the part of me, That’s supposed to talk to you.” You hear the sound but you can’t see anything. Aint no bird, aint no plane, it’s two lips tied with string. This waking dream is an offal recipe. Kidneys; liver; spleen and lights. Where’s the rest of him? “Well thanks so much for waiting. Let me be the one to show the way. Half a chance and half a smile, I give you all that you gave me man-child”. “And I’ve been watching you, Up where the air is blue”. “ ‘Cause the way I feel the storms will come, Out of control until the end of time. And my soul shall fire the fear of man-kind, Chaos and torment until the end of time. Ceaselessly breaking the hearts of you man-kind”. “And I’ve been watching you, Up where the air is blue”. “ ‘Cause I’ve been raging round Earth since time began. You blind, self-centred upstart. You shallow, fickle man. And my soul shall fire the fear of man-kind, Chaos and torment until the end of time. Ceaselessly breaking the hearts of you, man-kind”. “Well thanks so much for giving, a better place, a better world to live in. Well thanks so much for listening. For giving us the hope to start believing. Well thanks so much for feeling. Yeah thanks again for all the joy you’re leaving. Well thanks so much for working to bring an end to all the pain and hurting. Well thanks so much for nothing. One more man-made nail struck in my coffin. Well thanks so much for zip ! “

Ahhghh 01:30
Ahhghh A bolt from the heavens, You Earth-bound shot. Pull up your brown trousers, ‘Cause you have no breaks to stop. Here come… there go the clouds; There’s the sea and there’s the land. Whoa there little man-child, You’ve been collared by a hand. So who is your saviour And why’s he dressed in tweed? Why is he singing, To a million scudding sheep?

Old Air Head 06:06
Old Air Head This blue and green marble ball, Knows whats happening and knows whats going on. Two by two don’t equal four. And they say ‘Time shall save us all’ And you and I shall softly fall. And I believe that when we cry our laughter wakes our wings to fly. And pipes the tune to storm the gates of sorrow. Here comes The Sun to light your way beyond tomorrow. And I hope my words keep your hopes in sight And I hope my dreams see your hopes burn bright And I hope my life tells you stand and fight together. Face all our hopes together. This great big ball beneath The Sun, Could lose it’s use for Man and all he has become. Winter storms in scorching sun. And they say ‘Time shall save us all’ And you and I shall softly fall. Greet this heavy weather, stand and face this cause together. Work to find the truth before you fall. Lift up your head, hold out your hands, breathe in my dreams.

Terror Firma 02:07
Terror Firma You’re hurtling towards some mountain side. No time to think straight and fear won’t hide. You’re head and body are lost in a spin. Your life runs before you and hope gives in. You breathe in deep, you slow right down. Your thankful feet touch down. Mother Earth !
12.
The Mountain 04:58
The Mountain I keep my head way above water. I keep my eyes open and play to may strengths. Under the darkest hour where the stars dare not shine. Here come the rolling clouds, seems they are marking time. I’ll dream my dreams at the end of the rainbow. I’ll taste the rough and smooth that wakes my regrets. Under this great big sky where the clouds make it plain. Under the veil of night I feel the rains come home again. I see a rainbow on a smiling face. I see a rainbow make a better place. I see the sunshine on a brand new day. Doctor, Doctor please help me. You must end mi misery. Healing potions, balms and pills. Healing herbs to aid my ills. Tell mi Doctor, name mi fear. Is it hypochondria? My guiding light, romance of our future. May she comfort me against all that I see. Beneath a yawning sky I see the dawn of day. Kick back those rolling clouds, And scare the winds and rains away. I see a rainbow on a smiling face. I see a rainbow make a better place. I see the sunshine on a brand new day.

Come On You Reds Must we endure this bland refrain, Bring on the players and start the game. Four soddin’ hours stood in the cold. Their profit margins bought with our souls, Our Souls!

The Tree 04:49
The Tree Nothing between us, children of the setting sun. Both of our hearts keep beating, woken by the starting gun. Out of the blocks to freedom, let’s turn this world around. Kicking with the beat to break new ground. Look to your dreams child, life becomes the ultimate test. Never go home defeated, never go for second best. True I know it seems like hard work, when life stands in your way. Kicking in the door on judgement day. “Well Hi, I’m Dickie Drooper”. “I’m Bob Brownsword”. “Welcome to the Dream Day Double Power Play, here at the Dream Day Power Drome. Have we got a game for you. It’s a double-header and the stakes are high. Breezing in from the west we have the games dream-team.. the star-studded whores of corporate-market-development. Their opponents this afternoon.. representing the punch-drunk pawns of commercial exploitation and no-hopers, Woody Oakleaf ! Another lonely holler down losers latrine? Whatcha think Bob?” “You betcha Dickie”. “ Here we go. It’s Coca-Cola out to Adidas, a long measured pass to Seiko and oh masterful timing and an exquisite touch to the stalling Ford.. steers the ball round Woody… Reebok running in… Wipe-out !! .. Great goal Bob!” “Yeah, Seiko Sizzling on the side-lines, sees Pringle pull-over, leaves Woody rooted and Reebok Hits a goal that Nostradamus predicted… Dickie “ “Thanks Bob and here we go again. Woody kicks off and Mars is straight in with a strong challenge, Sells him a dummy - Woody certainly bought that one. Up field the ball fiends Pepsi.. Konica calls.. out to Carmen, Carmen curls one in…. GOAL!! “ “Two - nil, it looks like the plastic-poets have got this game wrapped up and in the can”. “There’s the whistle for the half time with the score standing two to zero to the manic-media manipulators. Can Woody spring back? We’ll be right back after these important messages” “When your bottom’s singing little songs. Moist and runny but the stench has gone. Bring back the steam, eat Powells Beans”. “Do your friends avoid your every word? Coz your mouth stinks like a steaming turd? Chew Holiday’s Bad Breath Away”. “Welcome back to the Dream Day Power Play. I’m Bob Brownsword, The players are out on the field awaiting kick off. Lets Join Dickie Drooper as the whistle blows and the second half gets underway”. “Off we go and Woody Oakleaf opens the second half but again he’s felled by Nike… Fair play says the referee. The ball swings out to Dunlop who chips it a fair way and the ball spins harmlessly out of play, giving the dream team time to make a surprise substitution”. “Yeah It’s Umbro coming off the manager putting on Lacoste at great expense”. “Woody’s in knots with the throw-in and it goes straight to the Dream Team. Embassy regally stubs the ball out to Puma.. the ball hangs in the Sky. Hey folks this game has just gone satellite. Tune in Earth and we’ll switch you on”. “Hell I don’t think I’ve been this switched on since… Hey… Woodstock. Hey … Dickie “. “Hey, Mitres back on the ball and Woody must surely be fearing the axe. The ball edges sharply out to Gillette but he cuts down Woody Oakleaf. He’s going it alone. He only has to get the ball on target and this could be…. Some people are on the pitch… They think its all over … It its now!!!.” “Dignity, morality and the right to free thought, sold down the river of saturation advertising” “Oh shut up, ya boring fart”

Stream Walking So you walk beside a river. Let him dance and let him shimmer. May he waltz with you. And you lift your eyes down stream. Pray it’s not another bad dream. Let your fears fall away. But your dreams are smashed and broken, When these words are softly spoken. “Hello child, step this way”. Stream walking. Dream talking.

The River 04:09
The River Well hello man-child, we’d like to get to know each other. May you never be a drunkard, may you never fall ill. May you never have a broken heart. Hope you never catch diseases from a lavatory seat, So be good and finish what you start. You and me, sail to the sea. Running river run. You and me, sail to the sea. Running river run. Hold your head above the water, please don’t swallow it down. It may put a little crimp on your day. Hope you never have to drink it in its current state. Still it keeps the rats and flies away. You and me, sail to the sea. Running river run. You and me, sail to the sea. Running river, running river run. Running river run. Someday you’ll find your time has come. Someday you’ll know where you belong. Little river changing Little river run. Come on river run. Little river run.

Time To Take Your Aqua Gum You’re carried along to the open sea, And the wind and the rain switch frantically. You hold on tight as the boat starts to spin. The waters are rising and opening. The whirlpool drags you and the boat, Through the salt saliva of a greedy throat. It smashes your craft and holds you firm, Like the hand that discovers a culprit germ. Swirling and crashing over head, The waters take you to the sea bed. To the sea bed.
18.
The Sea 05:10
The Sea Sometimes when I see your face I get a feeling. Like a train on a track going someplace and back, I get a feeling. I don’t know where I’m going, I don’t care where I’ve been. Some one called before us, they have stolen my dreams. Sometimes when I see your face I get a feeling. Wake up wind, wake up rain, Wake up torment and pain. I get a feeling. If you know where your going, Then you know where you’ve been. All the roads lead somewhere, Let the good times begin. Raise up your voices and lift up your hearts, Cause I wanna know why. I get a feeling Sometimes when I see your face I get a feeling. Even in the darkest city, where the waters taste the sky. Now let my sweet laughter bring on sunshine. I can shout it from the mountains, so you hear it on the plains. They shall hear it in the cities abandoned by the rains. So the future looks towards you, to see what you can see. The truth stands up before you, like a naked prophecy. Reach out for the sky line, beneath the swirling dust It’s the legacy of mankind, short-sighted greed and lust. So here comes your tomorrow. You walk towards it blind. Your inevitable destiny; a sedimentary toxic line. You believe you have a purpose, you believe you have a cause, But who amongst you can speak its name, confused by broken laws. You believe you are the master of all that you survey, But the Earth shall have the last words on Judgement Day.

Small Poem For A Small Planet A greedy man who wanted more, Spied himself an island shore. Set sail, set he in well stocked boat. His dreams wrapped well in his overcoat. Landing safe he made a crown. A village soon became a town. Soon his life filled up with joy, When walls were raised around his Troy. For many years his busy hands, Built cities up on barren sands. His island grew and filled with folk, Who’s dreams took shape through dust and smoke. He gazed once more, far out to sea, Is there an island wild and free. But searching high and searching low, There just was no place to go.
